I have no excuses. I had a year of lockdown and plenty of opportunities to blog. Yet there seemed to be an invisible barrier. I didn’t want to be posting my thoughts or frustrations. But, courtesy of facebook throwing up photos from a year ago, I am now revisiting some of the family activities that kept us going in the first lockdown (the last one was much harder), so our crazy family challenges will get a mention over the coming weeks. I was amazed by how much creativity there was from even the most reluctant participants. The arts play such an important part in everyone’s mental health, and it’s a shame that they have been a sector particularly badly hit.
So – all good things come to those who wait – including me – I now have the push to keep posting. Though a bit like buses, there may be too much at one time…
