I have a lot of time for people who might have made poor choices previously, but who work hard to turn around their lives.

And even more time for those who then try and turn their learning into helping others. This is the story of Simeon Moore, a one-time gun and knife-carrying criminal, who is now dedicated to trying to help youngsters avoid the world of crime he used to inhabit. I interviewed him for a Rotary District 1200 Conference, I’ve now met Simeon on a few occasions – we keep in touch – and I wish him all the best in continuing with the positive steps he is taking. Video of interview and additional Q and A session is on https://district1200.co.uk
His mantra: ‘Don’t be the product of your environment’.
